West face Mont Blanc.

The west face of Mont Blanc has been something i wanted to ski seens i was first time up on Mont blanc and skied the North face back in 2013. Ross Hewitt and Guilhem had good information about this face and said it could be in good conditions. Me and Mikko was interested to ski it to so we decided to ski it together.

Skinning up mont blanc du tacul we started 07.00 from cosmiqhut.

On mont maudit we climbed the three months route.

Hiddencouloir new variation of jagercouloir

I skied Valle Blanche to have a look at the Big Gervasutti on Mont Blanc du Tacul. When i was standing there this couloir lookers right of Jager looked so white. I told Mikko Heimonen about it and we decide to give it a try.

There are so peaceful to climb in the morning light.

Steepest line i have skied. It was so steep that my buckle on my skiboots went up when i turned. It was like falling down when  you turn. Mikko make it looks so easy like always. It was really hot this day when we skied down we was attacked by several rockfall.

After have been thinking about climbing this route i find it more interesting to ski it. I looked at it spring 2014 but i was not ready to ski it. This day a year after i first spotted it as a skiline we could finally ski it and make a first descent so close to the lift. Great day out with my best ski friend Mikko.

Aiguille de Amone NF face

The day before we had climbed Grand lui from there we could see that Amone north face looked good, after some technical problem with the Grand montets lift we could finally set off.
